The 12mm Adjustable Clip is a heavy-duty option offering increased customizability. Its oval head provides ample surface area for secure mounting while allowing horizontal adjustability. The flattened section before the head enables a 3mm seam without requiring material grinding at the rear of the cladding.
Package Includes:
X units of (12 x (A)mm) threaded shafts
2 x 37mm diameter head
(?) securing nut attached to a 3 x 70mm diameter base plate
This version has all the features of the 10mm Adjustable Clip but with greater load capacity and longer shaft options.

- Oval Head:
Provides a large surface area for secure mounting while offering horizontal adjustability. The flattened shaft before the head allows for a 5mm architectural joint without modifying the cladding material. - Round Head:
Available in two sizes—37mm and 50mm diameters—and in 2mm or 3mm thicknesses. - Mid-Rail Head:
Ideal for installations where the bottom edge of the cladding hangs below the structure, transitioning from vertical cladding to a horizontal soffit. This head also allows for suspended installation points, creating a clean, unobstructed edge. - Drop-In Pin Head:
A traditional installation system that relies on a drilled point in the stone panel. It includes a 5mm stainless steel pin as the locating head for installation within the stone panel.
The StoneClip system integrates a kerf-based cut into the cladding product with a dry-fix mechanical anchoring bolt. The brackets support the cladding independently, ensuring no dead load is transferred to the panel below.
Using this method, the cladding is mounted on the clips, which are then secured to the substrate with suitable anchors. The system’s adjustable nature makes it ideal for uneven substrates.
- Kerf Cutting: Ensure precise and consistent kerf cuts using our recommended installation equipment.
- Plumbing the Stone: Place the baseplate into the prepared kerf cut. Adjust the shaft towards the substrate until the head touches the substrate, confirming the stone is plumb.
- Trimming and Securing: Trim the excess shaft using a steel-cutting blade. Rotate the baseplate to contact the substrate fully.
- Anchor Installation: Drill a pilot hole through the baseplate's top center, clean it, and secure the anchor bolt to the substrate.
This system provides three-dimensional adjustability:
- In and out: Through the shaft
- Left and right: Through the kerf cut
- Up and down: Via StoneClip positioning
- Pre-cast concrete: 8mm Claw Bolt
- Core-filled block/AFS/Dincel: 6.5mm Screw Fix Bolt
- Steel frame: 14-gauge TEKS Screw
- Channel frame: 8mm Channel nut and set screw assembly
- Plywood/Wooden frame: 14-gauge pan head screw or 10mm coach screw
